Belytinae: Belytini:	*Aclista*			Alaheimo Belytinae: koirailla tuntosarvissa 14 jaoketta ja 3:ssa jaokkeessa paksuuntuma. Naaraiden tuntosarvissa on 14-15 jaoketta, mutta lähes aina 15.Synacra-suvun naarailla jaokkeita on 12. Takasiivessä tavallisesti suljettu basal sarka.

Diapriinae: Paramesiini:	*Paramesius*			Alaheimo Diapriinae: koirailla tuntosarvissa 13-14 jaoketta ja 4:ssa jaokkeessa lähes aina paksuuntuma. Naaraiden tuntosarvissa on 12-13 jaoketta ja tuntosarvien siiman kärki paksuuntunut ja on siten usein nuijamainen. Takasiiven basal sarka avoin. Alaheimon lajien kutikula on usein kiiltävä ja vailla riipusteisuutta sekä etuselässä karvainen kaulus
